Who We Are

NextPDF is a product of TechyOwls. We provide free and paid PDF tools at nextpdf.techyowls.io. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

Data We Collect

We collect only what's necessary to provide the Service:

• Account data — name and email address when you create an account
• Usage data — which tools you use, file sizes, and operation counts (for rate limiting and abuse prevention)
• IP address — used for rate limiting; not stored long-term
• Billing data — handled entirely by our payment processor; we never see your card details

Your Files

Files you upload are used exclusively to perform the operation you requested. We do not read, analyze, index, or share the content of your documents. Files processed on our servers are permanently deleted within 60 minutes. Files processed in your browser never leave your device at all.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the Service
• To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send transactional emails (account verification, receipts)

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-Party Services

• Authentication — provided by a trusted third-party identity provider
• Payments — handled by Paddle as our merchant of record. Paddle's privacy policy applies to billing data
• Infrastructure — files are processed on servers in the EU/US. We use encrypted storage with automatic deletion

Data Retention

• Uploaded files: deleted within 60 minutes of processing
• Account data: retained while your account is active
• Usage logs: retained for up to 30 days for abuse prevention
• Billing records: retained as required by applicable law

What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect or store the content of your PDF files beyond the 60-minute processing window
• We do not track you across other websites
• We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers
• We do not use your files to train AI models

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@techyowls.io. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date when changes are made. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
